Do I need to be present for the home inspection?
It is recommended that you are present for the home inspection. We will evaluate the home and point out safety issues and answer any questions you may have while we are doing the inspection. While it is not mandatory, it is highly recommended for you to be there for the inspection. It is a great opportunity to ask the home inspector questions that you may have about the house.
Should I do a Radon Test?
It is recommended that you do a Radon Test to make sure that the house is safe from Radon Gas. Radon is a radioactive gas and exposure to it causes over 21,000 lung cancer deaths per year—only smoking causes more. Because you can't see, smell or taste radon, it's important to periodically test the air in your home. Believing you live in a region not affected by radon is just one of the myths about this deadly gas.
